The Ewing Township recreation department has announced that the Instructional soccer program will begin on Friday , January 22nd and the indoor playing starts Sunday January 24th. Location: The gym at the Ewing Senior and Community Center.

Youth soccer should emphasize having fun, learning skills, and learning good
sportsmanship. Playing competitively should not be emphasized until children have
mastered the basic skills. While the object of the game is to win, children should not
be pressured to win, only to try their best.
The competitive dividison of West End Soccer Association is fielding four teams for the 2009-2010 season, playing in the Mid-New Jersey Youth Soccer Association (MNJYSA). The four boys teams will be in the groups under 10 years old (U10), as well as U11 and U13. Look for spring tryout dates.
